I gifted this drawing to my love, @paulmcoffman last Christmas. It’s for his mother, Maria who passed away a over a year ago. When Paul was at hospice with her, he came out for some fresh air, and saw what appeared to be an octopus on a nearby water fountain. Upon further inspection, he realized it was indeed an octopus, but a realistic toy one. Paul told his aunt about it, and the next day his Aunt suprised him with a little toy octopus from a gift shop. We finally did the tattoo yesterday, which would have been Maria’s 60th birthday 💕Dewey
